FIT College, a leading provider of fitness education in Australia, offers a Student Insurance program designed to protect aspiring fitness professionals during their studies.
This initiative ensures that students enrolled in courses such as the Certificate III and IV in Fitness are covered for all training and assessment activities required by their curriculum.

The Student Insurance program includes Public Liability Insurance, which covers incidents involving injury or property damage to third parties during training sessions. Additionally, it provides Professional Indemnity Insurance, safeguarding students against claims arising from alleged negligence or breaches of professional duty during their educational activities.

One of the notable aspects of FIT College's insurance coverage is its applicability to both on-campus and online students. Regardless of the mode of study, students are protected while performing assessment tasks prescribed by their courses. This comprehensive approach ensures that all students have the necessary coverage to complete their education with peace of mind.

To be eligible for this coverage, students must hold current certifications in Provide First Aid and Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation. They are also required to adhere to workplace safety protocols and conduct risk assessments for each practical situation, ensuring client and trainer safety at all times.

It's important to note that this insurance does not extend to activities outside the scope of the course or the professional practice of fitness trainers. Additionally, personal belongings and materials are not covered under this policy.

By offering this Student Insurance program, FIT College demonstrates its commitment to the safety and professional development of its students. This initiative not only protects students during their education but also instills a sense of responsibility and adherence to safety standards that will benefit them throughout their careers as fitness professionals.
